Our physiotherapists treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, from acute injuries, to motor vehicle accident injuries, to those common everyday aches and pains that appear over time. Our goal is to empower our clients towards self-management through active care and education about the body and its potential to heal and change. We work to improve mobility, decrease pain and promote return to function. Stopping activities you enjoy because of pain or dysfunction is not "normal", and the body is capable of great healing even with long term aches and pains.

Kayla has credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy ("The McKenzie Method) as her primary assessment and treatment approach.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapists have completed specialized post-graduate training to skillfully assess and treat issues pertaining to the pelvis including dysfunction of the pelvic organs, muscles (i.e. the pelvic floor), bones, joints, nerves, ligaments and connective tissue.

We understand that pelvic conditions can be very disturbing and can interfere with many aspects of your daily life. Because these conditions are not openly talked about, you might feel alone and that nothing can be done, or that these common conditions are just "normal" after having a baby, surgery or with aging. We want you to know that something can be done and that you don’t have to do this alone! Common conditions that can be assessed and treated by a skilled pelvic health physiotherapist include: prenatal/postnatal dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis rectus abdominus (abdominal “separation”), pubic symphysis dysfunction, sciatica, low back pain, rib pain, constipation, preparation for labour/birth, guidance for return to exercise postpartum, Caesarean birth recovery, pelvic floor strengthening, pelvic pain, vulvodynia/vestibulodynia, sacroiliac joint pain, groin pain, pain in the perineum, sexual pain and dysfunction, painful intercourse, clitorodynia, vaginismus and more.
